In this role, you will:

Draft policy wordings and related documents for all lines of business written by Hiscox USA
Collaborate with underwriters and offer risk analysis and legal advice
Stay up-to-date on current and emerging underwriting risk and coverage trends
Embrace "Plain English" wordings for easy understanding by customers and brokers
Work with State Filings team and Marketing team to incorporate filings and review marketing materials
Engage with Claims teams to solicit feedback and provide regulatory and compliance support
Report to the VP, Head of Product Development and be part of the highly collaborative Risk Department
Bring a Juris doctor degree and 3-5 years of insurance law experience
Possess excellent analytical, time management, and communication skills
Be commercially-minded and able to work independently and collaboratively

Salary Range: $118,000 - $142,000
