Salary Information: - The wage range for this role is currently estimated to be between $63,420 to $144,300. - Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program may also be available, depending on individual and organizational performance. Job Title: - Tax Senior - Investment Mgmt - Private Wealth (East Coast city locations) Experience Information: - 3+ years' experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns. - Prior Big 4 experience is preferred. Position Summary: - Seeking a leader and strategic thinker with extensive knowledge in multiple areas of taxation. - Responsible for delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns. - Must have a strong understanding of AGI and DNI. - Career opportunities available in Deloitte's growing Private Wealth practice. What You'll Do: - Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift tax returns. - Prepare and assist in client meetings regarding tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions. - Work with a team that focuses on the specialized needs of ultra-affluent clients, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners. Qualifications: - Must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field. - Ability to work in a hybrid work model, with in-person co-location required 2-3 days per week. - Experience reviewing trust documents is required. - Excellent technology, research, and writing skills are necessary. - Must be able to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served. - Active accreditations such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP are preferred.
