A law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney for their Minneapolis, MN, office.

Job Overview:

The Senior Attorney will communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties verbally and in writing. They will produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, reply to correspondence, and meet deadlines consistently. The candidate must foster positive work relationships, comply with firm policies, and engage in various activities, including digital/virtual conference calls and attending meetings. The role requires physical and sedentary activities, such as extended computer work. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts, excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court. Candidates with multi-district litigation experience are preferred; trial experience is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience conducting and defending depositions.
  • Experience managing a case docket.
  • Experience appearing in court.
  • Preferred: Experience with multi-district litigation.
  • Trial experience is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the state of Minnesota.
