Hancock Daniel, a mid-sized law firm in Richmond, VA, is seeking an exceptional litigation associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our commercial litigation and insurance coverage team. We offer a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to work on high level legal cases as part of a collegial and hardworking team. Our team specializes in complex business disputes for healthcare and insurance clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team on complex business disputes.

• Receive hands-on experience and immediate immersion into case leadership.

• Provide client-ready work-product and participate in legal strategy development and execution.

• Receive guidance from highly qualified attorneys.

• Perform high level legal work with a focus on excellent client service.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in litigation.

• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Excellent academic record and law degree.

• Admitted to practice in Virginia, additional admissions in DC, MD, and surrounding jurisdictions is a plus.

Salary Information:

• Full-time position.

• Salary range of $100,000-$130,000.
