Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will play a key role in representing clients in the gaming industry, with a particular emphasis on gaming regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting and arguing discovery motions, taking and defending depositions, and possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills. The role requires strong academic credentials and the ability to manage cases effectively, taking the lead as necessary.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in litigation matters related to gaming regulation.
  • Draft and argue discovery motions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Manage cases effectively, overseeing all aspects of litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members on case strategy and client communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience representing clients in the gaming industry.
  • Experience in casino gaming, sports betting, iGaming, fantasy sports, etc.
  • Admitted to practice in a state.
  • Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills.
  • Strong academic credentials.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in case management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
