They must also be located in the Sacramento, CA area. As a Senior Trial Attorney, you will represent clients independently as lead counsel or as part of a team. You will handle a mix of cases, varying in complexity, severity, product lines, and specialized concentrations, in all courts and agencies in the assigned jurisdiction(s). You will be responsible for maintaining a highly productive case volume and staying updated on changes to the law, technology, and other aspects of the legal and insurance industries. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and an active license in the state where the position is located. They should have at least eight years of relevant civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation. Other important skills and abilities include strong written and verbal communication, negotiation skills, analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to changes in the law and technology.
