Tax Manager - Federal Credits and Incentives - Washington National Tax Overview: RSM, a leading provider of professional services to the middle market globally, is looking for a Tax Manager to join their expanding tax practice in Federal Credits & Incentives with a focus on research and development. This role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing tax practice and work with dynamic companies. As a Tax Manager, you will use your expertise in taxation to provide compliance and consulting services in RSM's growing Washington National Tax office. Key Responsibilities: • Consult with clients and client engagement teams • Generate thought leadership alerts, articles, and other content • Liaise with Treasury, IRS, and Capitol Hill to monitor developments • Lead internal knowledge sharing and develop training • Develop client service offerings and tools • Ensure a focus on tax quality and client service excellence Qualifications: • 5-7 years of continuous recent public accounting experience • Experience working for a Big 4 or large national, regional, or local accounting firm • CPA license or JD required • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Extensive subject matter expertise in Federal Tax Credits & Incentives, particularly R&D credit • Experience in tax controversy is a plus Salary Information: The compensation range for this position is $95,400 - $207,000.
