Washington, . office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mid-level family law attorney with 2-3 years of legal experience (clerkship, internship, law firm associate or similar), exceptional professional skills, and a demonstrated commitment to family law. The candidate will work in small teams with increasing levels of independence and responsibility on a variety of family law matters. Will expect to experience significant direct contact with clients who are going through the distressing transition of divorce and other family matters. Work-life will include a balanced mix of out-of-court settlement work, including advice and counsel, strategic problem solving, negotiation, mediation and Collaborative Practice, and more adversarial work, including litigation when necessary or appropriate. Subject matter will include separation, divorce, custody disputes, child support, prenuptial agreements, adoption, domestic violence, and similar family conflict. Should have excellent academic records, commitment to client services, and the desire and ability to take on significant responsibility.
