- **Responsibilities:** As a Tax Associate at Baker Tilly (BT), you will be a value architect delivering tax advisory and compliance services to clients. You will have the opportunity to provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations, participate in tax research projects, help to draft IRS responses, address other tax authority inquiries, team with leaders on special projects, develop recommendations for the client to consider, communicate and team with specialty tax practices, learn and grow from direct on-the-job coaching and mentoring, utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships, and build friendships and strong work relationships while gaining valuable experience.
- **Qualifications:** Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business, with sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state you are being considered, outstanding academic performance required with a preferred GPA of or above, relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability, and proficiency with Microsoft programs.
