Senior Commercial Counsel - Data & Devices Business Unit (Remote): TE Connectivity, a global leader in manufacturing, is seeking an experienced attorney to provide legal support to their Data & Devices business unit. This is a remote position in the United States, with a preference for proximity to a TE Connectivity office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, specifically in the enterprise data services and computer network device sectors. Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements primarily in the Americas region, with both direct and indirect partners - Provide legal counsel and leadership to business stakeholders in North America, supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives - Collaborate with other members of the global legal team and subject matter experts - Advise on a range of legal topics including commercial law, antitrust and fair competition, marketing, product compliance, data security/privacy, and ethical sourcing - Support internal investigations and promote a culture of compliance within the business - Support daily operations and other projects as needed, including providing legal support to plant management and engineering teams - Ensure the effectiveness of the company's compliance program within the operating unit - Provide compliance training to employees and manage third-party business partner relationships - Advise on quality, warranty, and product liability issues and lead in resolving disputes - Manage outside counsel on litigation or other dispute resolution processes - Support the development of legal policies and continuous improvement initiatives - Take ownership of implementing digital platforms and contract lifecycle management tools for the business unit Qualifications: - 7-10 years of in-house legal experience supporting global manufacturing and customer sales - Ability to collaborate across a globally matrixed organization and support cross-functional teams - Proven project management skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Experience in enterprise data services, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and computer networking industries preferred Competencies: - Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation Compensation: - Competitive base salary: $192,480 - $240,600 (subject to change based on location) - Total compensation = base salary + incentives + benefits Benefits: - Comprehensive package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and voluntary benefits TE Connectivity is an equal opportunity employer, including individuals with disabilities and veterans.
