The Role

As a Litigation Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for:

• Representing clients in court or before government agencies
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Presenting cases in court
• Researching and analyzing legal issues
• Negotiating settlements
• Negotiating contracts
• Working with outside counsel

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• One to three years of litigation experience
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Experience in business transactions and real estate matters is preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan
