# Partner Tax Preparation Advisors Tax Manager ## Job Description PwC is looking for a Partner Tax Preparation Advisors Tax Manager to join their team. As part of the Internal Tax team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of taxation services to PwC related to complex financial reporting, cost management, tax planning, investment management and transaction processing. The successful candidate will be an effective team leader, with strong technical skills and the ability to build relationships with clients. They will have experience in managing and performing individual tax compliance/reviews and planning for executives, preferably for a global network of professional services firms. ## Responsibilities The Partner Tax Preparation Advisors Tax Manager will be responsible for the following: * Developing understanding of Partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, composite returns, Schedules A,B,C,D, E and year end planning. * Leveraging a network of internal stakeholders and external resources to meet the needs of and service a client-base of partners and principals within a global network of professional services firms. * Utilizing firm-issued technologies, ., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc), Google at Work (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), etc. * Leveraging technical skills with reviewing individual tax returns and tax planning for partners within a firm or executives, especially identifying and addressing client tax issues. * Identifying a broad range of planning issues that are applicable to the partner and directing them to the appropriate internal resources for assistance. * Leading and collaborating with team members virtually, including managing and supporting the work/life balance of the team. * Building and maintaining robust client relationships at the executive level. * Managing a team by leading teams to create an atmosphere of trust. * Seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation. * Coaching staff, including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback. * Analyzing complex ideas or proposals and building a range of meaningful recommendations. * Using multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations. * Addressing sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations. * Using data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making. * Developing a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients. * Managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties. * Simplifying complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points. * Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. * Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients. * Leading on-going change and leveraging new technology. * Demonstrating knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment. * Innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions. * Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements. ## Requirements and Preferences The successful candidate will have the following: * Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance. * 4+ years of experience in a similar role. * CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar. * Preferred Master Degree. ## Salary Information For positions based in California, Colorado, Nevada, New York State, or Washington State, please visit the following link for pay range information: . ## Application All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment at PwC without regard to race; creed; color; religion; national origin; sex; age; disability; sexual orientation; gender identity or expression; genetic predisposition or carrier status; veteran, marital, or citizenship status; or any other status protected by law.
