Job Summary:
- The Legal Assistant will provide support to assigned attorney(s) with a focus on Oregon civil litigation.
- This role will involve managing schedules, composing correspondence and legal forms, coordinating appearances and maintaining knowledge of court rules and legal deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain schedules and calendars for assigned attorney(s).
- Compose correspondence, pleadings, and various legal forms.
- Coordinate multi-party appearances and meetings.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and handle client inquiries.
- Receive and process incoming mail.
- Contact clients, witnesses, court reporters, and others to confirm scheduled appearances.
- Keep up-to-date with court rules and legal deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
- This role may be performed remotely or in an office setting with normal distractions, noise, and interruptions.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally required to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Must be able to operate a computer for extended periods of time.
- Physical dexterity to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and office equipment.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years experience in civil litigation as a legal administration clerk, secretary, or legal assistant.
