A law firm seeks an Attorney for their Washington, DC office with the following qualifications and responsibilities:

Job Overview:

The Attorney will handle real estate finance matters, including loan origination, asset management, and workout experience. They should possess exceptional writing and communication skills, high academic achievement, and large law firm experience.

Duties:

• Manage real estate finance transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Handle loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Provide expertise in mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Execute asset management and workout strategies.
• Oversee secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Solid large law firm experience practicing real estate finance law.
• Experience running transactions on behalf of lenders.
• Expertise in loan origination for commercial real estate finance transactions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.

Skills:

• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
