Position Summary

As an Attorney at Law at ****, you will be responsible for managing client cases from start to finish. This includes conducting appearances, managing discovery and litigation, and providing ongoing case management. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and supervise a Case Worker, and work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the firm partners.

H2: Responsibilities and Requirements for the Attorney at Law Position

- Manage assigned case load from start to finish
- Conduct appearances and handle all aspects of discovery and litigation
- Proactively manage cases, including daily monitoring, monthly file reviews, and settlement demands
- Conduct intakes and research potential claims or referral opportunities
- Mentor and supervise a Case Worker
- Hold weekly one-on-one meetings for file review and coaching
- Must have a Juris Doctorate of Law and a California State Bar license
- Previous experience in Workers’ Compensation or Social Security Disability preferred
- Certificate of Specialization in Workers’ Compensation is a plus
