Trial Associate Attorney Job Description:

- Seeking a motivated, self-starting Associate Attorney to join our Trial Department at Singleton Schreiber, LLP
- Responsible for advocating for clients' rights, both in and out of the courtroom
- Must be dedicated to delivering outstanding legal services to clients
- Based in the San Diego office

Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive annual salary of $100,000-$175,000
- Actual salary may vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision plans, childcare reimbursement, home office stipend, transportation reimbursement, paid parental leave, and 401k with employer contribution

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and document analysis
- Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings and motions
- Conduct legal research
- Make court appearances ranging from status conferences to trial
- Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California and/or Hawaii
- 2-5 years of experience
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs, such as Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, and OneLegal
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask and manage time-critical projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
