Tax Senior - National Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group
Salary Range: $77,070-$175,500
Job Location: 61 locations nationwide
Experience: 2+ years in federal partnership tax

Accreditations: CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, CFA
Work Schedule: Hybrid model, with 2-3 days in person per week
Travel: Up to 25%, depending on clients and industries served

Position Summary:

- Seeking tax specialist with experience in federal/tax and partnership tax compliance
- Opportunity to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients and diverse industries
- Deliver value to clients undergoing public offerings and interact with various professionals
- Develop cutting-edge technology for partnership tax and data analytics
- Implement tax structures and processes, oversee complex tax projects, and identify service opportunities
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative culture within National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) at Deloitte Tax LLP
- Operational Partnership Services (OPS) team within NFTS focuses on federal tax and issues related to partnerships
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, healthcare, and more

Key Responsibilities:

- Refine skills by working with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients
- Diversify industry experience by working with various industries
- Deliver value to clients undergoing public offerings and interact with external professionals
- Develop cutting-edge technology for partnership tax and data analytics
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes, and oversee complex tax projects
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance Deloitte initiatives

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with in-person work required 2-3 days per week
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Excellent research skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% depending on clients and industries served
- CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, or CFA accreditation preferred
- Advanced degree and previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience a plus
- Transaction and M&A experience and Alteryx experience desired
