Position Summary:
- Seeking a strategic and creative tax manager to lead teams in solving complex federal tax issues.
- Specializing in accounting for income taxes, tax restructuring, and tax controversy.
- Providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to clients in the insurance and financial services industries.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships within the insurance industry.
- Overseeing complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects for various entities.
- Managing engagement teams and providing leadership and career guidance.
- Consulting with other service lines and peers to address tax issues.

Qualifications:
Required:

- 5+ years of federal taxation experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Experience managing client relationships and engagement teams.
- Proficiency in tax code and regulations.
- Technologically inclined with the ability to simplify complex tax issues.
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, or enrolled agent.

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM.
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms.
- Proficiency with SSAP 101 and experience in the insurance industry.
