Job Summary: Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, Airborne Multifunction Sensors Division, is seeking a Sr. Principal Contract Administrator to join their F-35 Sensor Development and Production Operating Unit in the Tactical Fighters Business Unit. This position will support development programs and requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 2-3 days in the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract administration, customer relationships, and the ability to work in a team environment. Responsibilities: • Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts. • Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on contractual terms and conditions. • Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements. • Manage fact-finding, evaluation notices, and negotiations between customer and program team. • Build knowledge of FAR/DFARS. • Manage and administer Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and other reports. • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations. • Compile and analyze data. • Maintain historical information through the closeout process. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Business Management, or related field; or Master's Degree or JD with 8 years of experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Business Management, or related field. • Ability to provide advice on a wide range of contractual and business-related matters. • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters. • Strong working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, and other . Federal Government contracting regulations. • Experience with various contract types including, Cost-Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Time and Material (T&M) contracts. • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10%. • US citizenship is required. • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: • Recent experience as a Contracts Professional in the defense industry. • Strong time management skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and accomplish them simultaneously. • Proficient in daily use of Microsoft Office and other PC programs and software. • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
