Job Competencies and Responsibilities:

Developing and overseeing grant funding opportunities
Identifying and developing affordable and supportive housing projects
Securing financing for affordable housing development projects

Negotiating major agreements and financing documents
Drafting annual review and strategic plan for TPC
Briefing changes in legislation related to affordable and supportive housing, land use, and environmental law
Identifying partnerships for providing services to high need individuals under the 1115 Waiver
Advising ED and Board of Directors on Corporate Affairs, Policy, and Personnel

Qualifications:

Admitted to NY bar and practicing for 5+ years
Experience or familiarity with federal and state funding and subsidy programs for affordable and supportive housing
Experience or familiarity with federal and state legislation related to affordable and supportive housing, land use, and environmental law
Experience or familiarity dealing with municipalities, planning commissions, and municipal councils
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to conduct a zoning analysis
Proficiency in Excel and drafting real estate proforma
