Tax Manager - Trade Advisory: Provide expert advice and support to clients on import and export matters in various industries.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis to deliver effective solutions for complex customs, tariffs, and international trade issues.
Identify and communicate compliance risks and cost-saving opportunities for clients.
Efficiently manage multiple client engagements, adhering to tight timelines and budgets.
Build and maintain relationships to generate workflow and develop project portfolio.
Proactively engage with current and potential clients to support practice growth and ensure satisfaction.
Provide performance feedback and coaching to develop staff.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver services.
Identify additional opportunities for services such as international tax, state and local tax, VAT, internal audit, and transfer pricing.
May be required to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of six years of import/export experience as a customs/trade consultant.
Active Customs Broker License, empowered official, JD with Bar exam, CPA, or Master's degree in a related field.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in export controls and sanctions, customs valuation, classification, origin, marking, entry, and trade agreements.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Fluency in English required; proficiency in another major language preferred (Spanish, Mandarin, German, etc.).
Experience in a professional services firm, law firm, corporate, or government setting.
