JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Law Firm is seeking an experienced and passionate Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our team in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent legal representation to our clients and ensuring that they receive the best possible outcome for their case. You will also have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team of attorneys and support staff. This is a full-time position with the possibility of remote work with a transition to in-office work after 12 months.

As a Litigation Attorney at our firm, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients by providing them with compassionate and effective legal representation. You will be responsible for meeting with clients, discussing their case, and keeping them updated on the status of their claims. You will also be responsible for negotiating with insurance companies and preparing and trying cases in court if necessary.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 6 years of litigation experience and have tried 5-10 personal injury cases as first chair. You must also be a member of the Missouri Bar in good standing and have a strong understanding of how to evaluate claims. Excellent negotiation skills and superb verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position. We are looking for someone who is proactive, team-oriented, and has a strong problem-solving approach.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney at our firm, your responsibilities will include:

Meeting with clients to discuss their case and provide compassionate and effective legal representation
Communicating with clients and insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers
Preparing cases for trial and trying cases in court if necessary
Negotiating with insurance companies to obtain the best possible outcome for our clients
Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations
Collaborating with a team of attorneys and support staff to provide the best possible representation for our clients

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications and skills:

Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience
Tried 5-10 personal injury cases as first chair
Member of the Missouri Bar in good standing
Strong understanding of how to evaluate claims
Superb negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and team-oriented mindset
Strong problem-solving skills
