A law firm is currently seeking a skilled Lateral Government Contracts Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, . This position requires expertise in government contracts law, including litigation, transaction support, suspension and debarment issues, and False Claims Act/internal investigation matters.

Job Overview:

• Provide legal counsel on government contracts matters, including disputes, transactions, and compliance.
• Support corporate transactions involving government contracts.
• Address suspension and debarment issues.
• Handle False Claims Act/internal investigation matters.

Duties:

• Litigate government contracts disputes.
• Provide legal advice and support on corporate transactions involving government contracts.
• Address suspension and debarment issues as they arise.
• Conduct internal investigations related to False Claims Act matters.
• Assist in drafting and negotiating government contracts.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in government contracts law.
• Experience in litigating government contracts disputes.
• Familiarity with suspension and debarment procedures.
• Knowledge of the False Claims Act and related compliance issues.
• Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations.

Certifications:

Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
