- Conduct commercial real estate closings for purchases, refinances, and loan modifications.
- Review and analyze purchase contracts, title abstracts, surveys, and other closing documents.
- Communicate with various parties involved in the closing process.
- Negotiate with opposing counsel and other parties to resolve any issues.
- Follow up on post-closing items and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Market credit union products and services to potential clients.

Requirements:
- JD law degree and licensed in New York State (NYS).
- Thorough knowledge of NYS title laws, legal codes, and regulations.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

As a Commercial Closing Attorney, you will be responsible for conducting commercial real estate closings and ensuring that all necessary documents and procedures are completed accurately and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships in the financial services and real estate industry to obtain new clients and market credit union products and services.

To be successful in this role, you should have a JD law degree and be licensed in New York State (NYS), as well as have a minimum of 1-year real estate closing experience. You should also have a thorough knowledge of NYS title laws, legal codes, and regulations, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
