Location: Oakland, CA F3 Law, a reputable law firm specializing in providing legal support to public schools and community colleges, is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Attorney to join our Business and Facilities department in our Oakland office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist K-12 schools and community colleges with navigating a wide range of operational legal issues. Key Responsibilities: - Provide transactional and litigation support on various legal issues, including real estate transactions, leases, public contracting matters, and contract negotiations. - Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure accurate and effective legal representation. - Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and briefs. - Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings. - Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm. Qualifications: - At least 5 years of experience practicing law. - Member of the State Bar of California. - Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of education law is a plus. Salary Information: - Base salary range: $150,000 - $185,000 per year. - Actual salary will depend on years of practice and experience. - Additional benefits include billable hours bonuses, annual discretionary bonuses, health insurance benefits, and 401(k) with profit-sharing contributions.
