The McIlveen Family Law Firm is currently hiring a Senior Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience, offering above average compensation of $100,000+ for this salaried position. We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Attorney with exceptional trial, negotiation, research, and communication skills to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Role of Senior Associate Attorney:

As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will develop relationships with clients by understanding their legal needs, providing counsel, and representing them in court and negotiations. You will also be responsible for conducting research, preparing legal documents, and finding the most cost-effective solutions for our clients. Your role will require you to be attentive, proactive, and an excellent communicator, negotiator, public speaker, and problem solver.

Requirements for the Position:

- Must be licensed in North Carolina
- Graduation from an accredited law school
- Excellent academic record
- First chair trial experience
- Experience in family law

Job Duties:

- Advise clients on ongoing litigation and explain legal issues they may be facing
- Conduct thorough research on cases and applicable laws
- Develop case strategies to resolve cases early and cost-effectively
- Prepare legal documents such as separation agreements, deeds, and wills
- Represent clients in court and negotiations
- Build relationships with clients based on trust
- Negotiate and settle cases
- Consult with potential clients
- Business development
- Meet Billable Hour requirements
