Senior Counsel, Financial Crimes Legal Position Overview

- Responsible for advising on anti-money laundering, sanctions, and fraud matters
- Lead engagement with regulators and policymakers on new proposals related to financial crimes
- Focus on ., ., and global anti-money laundering regulations

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with business and compliance teams to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering requirements
- Provide legal guidance to international operating entities
- Advise on regulatory and policy trends and developments related to digital currency
- Continuously assess operating risks and legal needs and manage outside counsel effectively

Job Requirements

- Qualified lawyer with 6+ years experience in regulated financial services or law firm supporting such clients
- Experience with regulators such as the . Treasury, Financial Conduct Authority, and Central Bank of Ireland preferred
- Ability to manage complex projects and work closely with compliance and other stakeholders
- Proactive and able to exercise initiative to drive effective decision making
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide practical legal advice with limited supervision

- Enthusiasm for and basic understanding of digital currencies and blockchain technology

Salary Information

- Depending on location, target annual salary ranges from $218,450 to $257,000 USD
- Full-time offers also include target bonus, equity, and benefits
