Job Overview: A law firm in Edina, MN, is seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney with a strong background in construction, insurance coverage, first-party, and property litigation. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings, including but not limited to construction disputes, insurance coverage disputes, first-party claims, and property litigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide clients sound legal advice and strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes when appropriate.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases and meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Minnesota State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on litigation.
• Proven experience handling construction, insurance coverage, first-party, and property litigation matters.
• Strong understanding of state and federal civil procedure rules and litigation processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Education and Certifications:
