Summary:

Join the team at MLG, a fast-paced and high-energy law firm that specializes in vehicle defect litigation. Our mission is to take on billion-dollar companies and achieve maximum recovery for our clients in the shortest time possible. We are currently seeking a Staff Associate to assist in managing multiple cases and support our team of attorneys. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $110,000 per year and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in case evaluation and provide legal support and guidance
- Prepare litigation reports and risk assessments
- Attend hearings, depositions, and court appearances
- Stay informed about current legislation and industry developments
- Build relationships with clients and experts
- Draft legal documents such as depositions, pleadings, and contracts
- Negotiate settlements and attend mediations
- Conduct legal research and analyze statutes and regulations
- Interview clients and witnesses and prepare summaries
- Organize and maintain case files
- Assist in trial preparation and attend trials and hearings

Requirements:

- Credentials from an ABA accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills
- 1-2 years of experience in litigation preferred

- Reports to the Senior Litigation Associate and VP of Litigation
- Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work
- Office located in Costa Mesa, California
