The ideal candidate must possess superb research and writing skills to assist with brief writing at the state and federal level. They will be responsible for assisting the firm in representing clients and preparing motions, briefs, coverage opinions, and other related matters.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research at the state and federal level.
• Draft and edit briefs for appellate proceedings.
• Assist in preparing motions, including summary judgment motions and motions to dismiss.
• Provide coverage opinions on legal matters.
• Analyze case law and statutes to support legal arguments.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff on case strategy and preparation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Nebraska.
• 5-10 years of legal experience, preferably in appellate practice or research.
• Demonstrated superb research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in analyzing legal issues and crafting persuasive legal arguments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
