This individual will be responsible for providing tax consulting and advisory services related to revenue recognition, expense recognition, capitalization, cost recovery, and inventory accounting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, a CPA or JD, and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Responsibilities: - Identifying, managing, and reviewing accounting method projects - Calculating 481(a) adjustments and providing IRS exam support - Researching and writing tax advice, opinions, and position memorandums - Collaborating with RSM Managers, Sr. Managers, and Partners - Pursuing new business opportunities and building relationships with existing and potential clients - Mentoring and developing junior team members Requirements: - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (CPA or JD preferred) - 5+ years of experience in public accounting - Strong communication skills - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $95,400 to $207,000, depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and alignment with market data.
