NextEra Energy is seeking a Sr EPC/Equipment Supply Counsel to provide legal support for the commercial and infrastructure group within the company's General Counsel Business Unit. This position will involve drafting and negotiating contracts for procurement of EPC and construction services, power generation equipment, and other complex commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience supporting the energy and utility industries at a top law firm, with significant experience in drafting and negotiating contracts for procurement of power generation equipment and EPC contracts. Experience representing electric utilities and independent power producers is also desired. This position can be located in Juno Beach, FL, Houston, TX, or Washington, DC, however remote work from other locations will be considered based on candidate experience.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Act as the senior legal advisor to the company and senior management in a functional area or discipline
- Provide legal advice and service on complex legal issues
- Represent the company in litigation, regulatory proceedings, government investigations, and legal transactions
- Ensure compliance with company Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
- Report potentially material legal issues to audit function and senior management
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
