# Experienced Family Law Attorney

Triangle Smart Divorce is a family law firm located in Cary, North Carolina that is looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, a proven track record of successfully handling cases, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients facing challenging family-related legal issues.

## Job Responsibilities

- Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and child support
- Understanding how clients’ problems are more than a legal problem to them
- Foster positive relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Develop a case strategy and provide direction to paralegals and legal assistants
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements
- Prepare and present cases in court, as well as negotiate settlements when appropriate
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Stay up-to-date on changes in family law legislation and regulations

## Qualifications

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- A lawyer at our firm needs to be detail-oriented but also flexible
- Must be a licensed attorney with the State of North Carolina
- At least 3-5 years of Family Law Experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing a full caseload
- Demonstrated success in representing clients in family law matters
- Ability to quickly learn additional software platforms, such as MyCase and Dropbox
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Time management skills

## Compensation

$80,000 - $125,000. We also have a generous benefits package, including health insurance and 401(k).

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- A lawyer at our firm needs to be detail-oriented but also flexible
- Must be a licensed attorney with the State of North Carolina

Compensation for this position is competitive and includes a salary range of $80,000 - $125,000 as well as a generous benefits package, including health insurance and 401(k).
