Senior Legal Counsel - Provide critical legal advice and support for base industrial gas business in US
- Serve as advisor and strategic thought partner to business teams
- Develop, negotiate, and draft contracts in line with corporate objectives
- Identify, manage, and mitigate legal risks affecting the business
- Collaborate with colleagues to address litigation and intellectual property issues
- Build trusted relationships with internal clients through strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Provide commercial legal advice with focus on balancing risk and reward
- Negotiate with counsel for customers and other outside parties
- Provide legal and compliance coaching and training to business teams

What Makes You Great
- JD/LLB from recognized university in common law country (or JD/LLB from civil code country with LLM from common law country)
- Qualified to practice law in one or more US states
- 5-10 years' transaction/commercial experience
- Proven track record as lead transaction attorney with experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements
- Experience in energy law, dispute resolution, bankruptcy/collections law, or chemicals, infrastructure, or power industries preferred
