Attorney - In-House/Litigation (Las Vegas-area): Join the team at FPC Action Foundation and fight for maximal human liberty and individual rights as an attorney with 3-5+ years of federal trial litigation experience. Role: Attorney - In-House/Litigation
Reports to: General Counsel / Vice President
Location: Las Vegas, NV (in-office with some telecommute possible)
Compensation: Starting at $100,000 - 125,000 per year, DOE
Type: Full-Time; Exempt

What you'll do:

- Conduct legal and historical research relating to current and potential litigation
- Coordinate with outside counsel, clients, and other stakeholders regarding current and potential litigation
- Assess requests for legal assistance and investigate complaints about rights violations
- Conduct intakes and client candidate screening
- Develop, conduct, and participate in litigation
- Engage in advocacy work to advance individual liberty and the Organization's objectives
- Actively promote the Organization's programs and values
- Help supervise volunteers, legal fellows, and support staff
- Represent the Organization in a positive, professional manner
- Perform other duties and manage projects as assigned

- Have alignment with and support for FPCAF's purpose, core beliefs, current mission, and brand
- Have a law degree from a . accredited law school and admission to a state bar
- Have at least 3 years of federal civil litigation experience
- Have the ability to contribute to developing high-impact strategy
- Have the ability to litigate collaboratively and exercise good judgment under stressful situations
- Have the ability to write legal and other documents clearly, accurately, and concisely
- Have a passion for fighting for liberty and limiting the size and scope of government
- Have a positive, team-first attitude, high drive, and commitment to meeting goals on time
- Have exceptional organization and follow-through
- Have emotional maturity and the ability to successfully work with strong personalities
- Be proficient in Apple computers, software, legal research tools, case management software, and collaboration/communication tools
- Have the ability to legally acquire and possess firearms
- Have a valid driver's license with no more than one (1) chargeable moving violation or accidents within the last three (3) years
