Summary:

Mattamy Homes, the largest privately owned homebuilder in North America, is looking for an experienced Litigation Counsel to join their team. This full-time, permanent position will require the candidate to be onsite at least 4 days a week and must reside within commutable distance to one of their Florida offices. The Litigation Counsel will report to the General Counsel and will be responsible for managing pre-litigation, Chapter 558, and litigation matters in all divisions. They will also handle regulatory agency complaints, represent Mattamy Homes legally in interactions and disputes, and review and draft legal documents and agreements.

The ideal candidate will have a . degree from an accredited . law school, must have passed the Florida Bar Exam and have an Active license to practice law in FL, and have 5-10 years of experience in commercial and construction litigation. They should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly disciplined and able to work with limited supervision, and have a keen understanding of local cultures and laws. Travel may be required to various company offices and locations within Florida, Texas, Arizona, and North Carolina.
