Summary: Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Counsel to support their Medicare Advantage and government programs managed care health plan business. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office and the ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate with 10 years of related law experience, preferably with significant experience in Medicare Advantage and other government programs managed care/health plan. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for providing timely and accurate legal advice based on knowledge of federal, state, and other applicable laws, and will work cooperatively with both inside and outside counsel. The incumbent will also have excellent skills in preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and investigating complex situations to provide well-reasoned solutions and alternatives. This position also requires strong communication and relationship building skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and act proactively. The Senior Counsel will be expected to maintain high ethical and professional standards, and comply with all applicable laws and company policies.
