## Global Head of Tax Brown Advisory, an independent investment management and strategic advisory firm, is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented individual to fill the Global Head of Tax position in its Baltimore [Washington DC] office location. This position will be responsible for overseeing and directing the corporate tax function, which includes corporate and partnership tax responsibilities. This individual will be expected to provide leadership, strategic thinking, risk management, strong relationship skills, and a commitment to talent development. ### Duties and Responsibilities The Global Head of Tax will be responsible for developing and leading global tax strategy goals, balancing firm and unitholder implications. This includes advising executive management on the global tax implications of business activities and strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with US and international tax laws and regulations, and providing oversight for the holding company’s 800+ K-1’s. Additionally, the Global Head of Tax will be expected to develop transfer pricing strategy in conjunction with third-party vendors, advise and design strategies for transactions, acquisitions and other initiatives to minimize tax risk and maximize tax efficiency, and communicate and explain individual tax implications related to Brown Advisory equity ownership. ### Education, Technical Skills, and Preferred Experiences The successful candidate will have a minimum of a , 15+ years of relevant industry experience, and CPA License or Masters of Tax preferred. Prior experience with corporate & partnership tax compliance & research is required, including Subchapter K, and prior international, UK specific, experience is a plus.
