Grant Thornton is seeking a Cyber Privacy and Data Protection Manager to join their team in Chicago, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and contribute to their privacy programs through assessment, automation, and process improvement. Your Responsibilities:

- Adhere to professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality
- Manage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks in a rapidly growing, fast-paced team environment
- Apply knowledge of privacy and data protection trends to identify areas for improvement
- Lead client engagements from start to finish, including planning, directing, and completing assessments, program implementations, and managed services
- Collaborate with senior managers and partners to identify and resolve client issues
- Support business development activities, such as client prospecting and proposal development
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Juris Doctorate, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level
- One or more of the following certifications required: CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, or other related certifications
- Deep understanding of global privacy and data protection regulations and frameworks, such as GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, HIPAA, GLBA, NIST, ISO, and more
- Experience working with leading privacy regulations to perform assessments and support program implementations
- Experience with privacy tools such as OneTrust, , WireWheel, and BigID
- Strong project management skills and ability to communicate privacy issues to clients of all levels
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed

Salary Information:

- Base salary range for this position in Los Angeles, CA, Bellevue, WA, and New York, NY only: $155,500 - $233,300
