A law firm is actively seeking a dynamic Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, . The firm is looking for an individual with 1-6 years of experience, and possessing a strong background in patent litigation. Preferred candidates will have law firm experience and a technical degree, demonstrating an aptitude for handling cases related to biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields. Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of intellectual property litigation cases, focusing on patents
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and technical experts to understand complex scientific concepts
• Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Prepare for and actively participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and legal counsel
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategies
• Analyze and evaluate the merits of intellectual property claims and defenses
• Stay informed about developments in intellectual property law and relevant scientific fields
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes

Requirements:

• 1-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation
• Preference for candidates with law firm experience
• Technical degree preferred, with an aptitude for handling cases related to biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Patent litigation experience is required
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Technical degree (preferred)

Certifications:
