Amazon is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Corporate Counsel to join their Legal team. This role will specifically focus on data center leasing and colocation for Amazon Web Services (AWS), a rapidly growing business within . As a trusted advisor to business leaders, the Senior Corporate Counsel will provide legal support for the AWS colocation legal team in the Americas. Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and provide legal support for the AWS colocation legal team in the Americas
- Structure, draft, and negotiate deals while providing legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members
- Develop colocation specifications for new infrastructure and services and manage AWS's existing colocation portfolio
- Manage outside counsel and resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships
- Develop, implement, and manage process improvements across the team
- Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of legal experience with a Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience as a real estate, banking & finance, or technology transactions attorney
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work closely with and advise senior executives and all levels of legal and business partners
- Experience in people management

Compensation:

- Competitive salary including equity
- Range from $146,500/year in lowest geographic market to $272,500/year in highest geographic market
- Additional forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, including medical, financial, and other benefits
