Associate Attorney Job Summary:

This full-time position at Gurstel Law Firm, . is seeking a results-driven Associate Attorney with experience or a desire to become experienced in the consumer collection industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal regulatory frameworks and be able to provide practical assessments and advice while advocating for clients in and out of court. Key Responsibilities:

- Represent creditors in all aspects of the legal collection process
- Communicate with opposing counsel and pro se parties to resolve disputes and negotiate matters
- Draft and review legal documents, including briefs and pleadings
- Conduct legal research and formulate legal opinions
- Attend continuing education classes to stay current with laws and procedures
- Travel to various courts in the state to handle litigation cases

Qualifications and Skills:

- Active license in the state where the position is located with no discipline history
- Experience in consumer collection litigation preferred but not required
- Knowledge of civil litigation process and consumer protection laws
- Strong time management and leadership skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive salary range of $75, to $95, annually
