We are currently seeking an Asbestos Associate Attorney to join our highly acclaimed asbestos practice group in one of our California office locations: Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek. As an Asbestos Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California. You will be responsible for managing a litigation caseload independently, conducting depositions, and preparing witnesses for deposition and trial. Additionally, you will review and analyze discovery requests, prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings, and assist with trial preparation and support. Accuracy and efficiency are crucial in this role, and you will be expected to maintain accurate time records. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability. You must also have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the state of California. Experience with motion practice and depositions is essential, and you should be comfortable taking the lead in plaintiff and expert depositions. The ability to work independently, in an organized and efficient manner, is also crucial. Strong research and writing skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and analyze complex matters, are also required.
