PwC is currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our Financial Markets Business Advisory team. This role will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services while also helping clients comply with complex information reporting and withholding rules. As a Tax Manager, you will work with a team of problem solvers to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include developing new skills, coaching others, and analyzing complex ideas to provide meaningful recommendations. You will also use data and insights to inform decision-making and uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.

H2: Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field. You must also be a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Active Member of the Bar. Preferred fields of study include Management Information Systems & Accounting, Accounting & Finance, and Accounting. H2: About the Team

PwC’s Global Information Reporting (GIR) practice helps clients comply with an international set of rules focused on information reporting and withholding tax requirements. This includes regulations such as Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). As a Tax Manager, you will be a part of this team and have the opportunity to provide guidance to clients, research complex tax issues, and develop innovative technology solutions.

H2: Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to clients regarding compliance with global tax information reporting rules
• Research complex tax issues and reach appropriate conclusions for our clients
• Lead staff in preparing and filing information returns and other required forms
• Develop innovative technology solutions to increase efficiency
• Train and manage local staff and contribute to the development of your team’s technical acumen

H2: Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field
• CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Active Member of the Bar
• Preferred fields of study include Management Information Systems & Accounting, Accounting & Finance, and Accounting
• Additional educational preferences include a ., . in Taxation, or Master's in Taxation (MST)
• Strong understanding of US tax rules and requirements, including FATCA and CRS
• Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
