Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Paralegal II to join their Office of the General Counsel team in Newport Beach, CA. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of remote and in-office work. The Senior Paralegal II will primarily support the Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management teams, working closely with in-house attorneys and other paralegals on the Corporate Law and Operations Support teams. This role will also involve general paralegal support and legal research on a variety of issues. As a member of the Pacific Life team, you will contribute to the company’s mission of innovation and dedication to providing a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and revise various supplier contracts, services agreements, statements of work, amendments, renewals, and non-disclosure agreements for the Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management teams
- Partner with in-house attorneys and paralegals to develop and maintain policies, playbooks, and procedures for efficient and reproducible results in the contracting process
- Assist in creating and updating contract term libraries
- Provide general paralegal support to attorneys on the Corporate Law and Operations Support teams
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of issues
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of contract review experience as an in-house or law firm paralegal
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate required
- Extensive experience drafting and reviewing contracts and working with attorneys and internal business clients
- High ethical standards
- Strong collaboration, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
