Associate Attorney - Legal Support for Global Market Data Firm H1: Legal Support for Global Market Data Firm - Associate Attorney Opportunity H2: Join a Leading Global Market Data Firm as an Associate Attorney Overview: - ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, is a global leader in market data, analytics, and connectivity solutions. - This role will support the Associate General Counsel in advising and supporting a wide range of legal matters across the global ICE Data Services business units. - The primary focus of this role will be on reviewing requirements in connection with applicable regulations, reviewing documentation and processes for compliance, and drafting and negotiating agreements. - This is a hands-on role that will involve working closely with the business and other attorneys. Responsibilities: - Review requirements in connection with applicable regulations, with a special emphasis on the Investment Advisers Act. - Assist in the preparation and review of external requests for information. - Perform legal review of marketing materials, advertisements, client communications, and press releases. - Assist in the design and implementation of programs related to regulatory frameworks. - Identify risk implications and provide legal advice for business strategies and product plans. - Review, draft, and negotiate agreements of various complexities. - Be an enthusiastic and professional member of the legal department. Experience and Qualifications: - degree required. - 2+ years of relevant experience, though candidates with other applicable experience will be considered. - Experience working in-house on regulatory matters at a financial services or financial data/technology company is preferred. - Strong communication skills and ability to work across a broad range of product areas. - Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and clients. - Desire and ability to learn new and complex areas of law quickly. - Ability to provide pragmatic, quality, and timely advice to all areas of the organization. Salary Information: - The expected base salary for this role in New York City is between 133,900 - 175,100 USD. - This range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. - Compensation will be based on the individual's skillset and experience.
