- Provide comprehensive civil legal services to low-income residents of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties
- Full-time staff of attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff
- Passionate about securing rights of low-income individuals and assisting with civil legal matters
- Prioritize landlord-tenant and family law experience
- Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and motions
- Manage cases in landlord/tenant, family law, and expungements
- Attend outreach clinics and present on general law topics to the community
- Participate in community outreach efforts throughout service area
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Understanding of issues affecting low-income individuals and impoverished communities
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and oral communication, litigation, and advocacy skills
- Legal research skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Juris Doctor and admission to State Bar of Michigan required
- Member in good standing of State Bar of Michigan
