Job Summary:
AXIS Capital is seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Manager for Management Liability to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and handling complex, severity claims for Financial Institutions and Transactional Liability policies. You will work closely with internal and external partners to determine coverage, evaluate damages, and make recommendations for settlement. Responsibilities:
• Act as highest level individual contributor for primary and excess claims for Financial Institutions and Transactional Liability policies.
• Thoroughly document claim process in adherence to best practices.
• Evaluate, reserve, and make recommendations for settlement of assigned claims.
• Communicate and negotiate with internal and external partners, including presenting to senior leaders within Claims and Underwriting.
• Identify and navigate complicated coverage issues, including allocation.
• Prepare required reports and authority requests for senior management.
• Travel to mediations or settlement conferences as needed (approximately 10%).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• .
• 7-10 years of relevant claims handling experience or equivalent private practice experience.
• Experience with Complex Professional Liability claims, including Public Company or Executive Risk, Private Company D&O, Private Equity, and Bankers Professional Liability.
• Experience with Transactional Liability claims, including Representation and Warranty insurance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Adjuster's license preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications and Share Point.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Team player.

Salary Information:
• Base salary range: $85,000 - $150,000, dependent on experience and location.
• Eligible for competitive incentive targets based on corporate and individual performance.
