Meta, formerly known as Facebook, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic tech enthusiast to join their legal team as Lead Counsel for their AI product counseling team. This full-time position will require the individual to provide legal advice on complex and evolving issues related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, as well as mitigate legal risks for products across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have a . degree and at least 5 years of experience counseling clients in-house or at a law firm, with a background in areas such as consumer protection, privacy, data security, and intellectual property law.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary legal partner for several AI product and policy teams
- Lead consensus building across complex and multifaceted legal issues
- Coordinate with various cross-functional teams on external communications, policy development, and product development and launches

Minimum Qualifications:
- . degree with membership in at least one . state bar
- 5+ years of experience counseling clients in-house or at a law firm
- Experience in product or regulatory counseling related to areas of law such as consumer protection, privacy, data security, and intellectual property law
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally

Compensation for this position ranges from $167,000/year to $233,000/year, with additional bonuses, equity, and benefits offered.
