**Job Summary:**

The Office of the General Counsel is seeking multiple attorneys to join their team. These positions will primarily be responsible for performing administrative prosecution of violations for assigned professions/occupations/businesses under the jurisdiction of the department. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting legal documents, managing multiple complex cases, and conducting legal research. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a unique role within the Department of Business and Professional Regulations.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulations (DBPR) is responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of various industries and professions in Florida. This includes everything from food service to real estate transactions. Our stakeholders include professionals and their customers. Our mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly to protect the safety and welfare of Florida's citizens and visitors.

**Responsibilities:**

As an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel, you will be responsible for prosecuting violations of statutes and administrative rules for regulated professions/occupations/businesses. This includes analyzing violations, recommending appropriate action, drafting legal documents, and presenting recommendations to probable cause panels or agency management. You will also be responsible for conducting other civil and administrative litigation on behalf of the Department in all judicial forums as requested and required by law.
